Tips on How to Stay Healthy
Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I will be giving you tips on how to stay healthy.
Most people eat a lot of calories but they should eat less calories. You should always eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Cut down on saturated fat and sugar. Now some of you might be thinking this is just boring stuff. But it is not! You know how important is your health. Staying healthy can help you stay healthy emotionally too. If you're eating the right food and keeping yourself fit, your body will be strong and help you cope with stress and also fight illness.
Getting enough sleep is very important to stay healthy and waking up early is healthy too. Seven to nine hours of sleep is healthy for you. For kids and teens, they need more hours of sleep.
Adults or teens should never smoke. Smoking is a harmful thing to do. It is just not healthy, It can also lead to death.
Eating more fish is healthy because of all the proteins it contains. You should eat Oily fish like salmon, mackerel, trout, herring, fresh tuna, sardines and pilchards. Non-oily fish includes haddock, plaice, coley, cod, canned tuna, skate and hake. If you regularly eat a lot of fish, try to choose as wide a variety as possible.
For adults avoid eating things that contains a lot of fat like cake, cream, butter etc.
You should cut down eating or drinking a lot of sugary stuff like, sugary fizzy drinks.
Eat a big amount of breakfast and something healthy because breakfast is the important meal of the day. Do not skip breakfast. You can make a healthy breakfast like Berry and Yogurt Smoothie and Avocado Toast with Egg.
Whenever you are hungry make yourself a healthy snack. If you are on a diet and want to loose weight then you can just skip snacks and have a healthy drink.
You should eat less salt. Not more than 6 grams a day for adults.
DO NOT stay thirsty. Drink plenty of water. It is recommended that we should drink 6-8 glasses every day.
Go to the gym or exercise and if you are too lazy to go to the gym or exercise, you can just take walk. Walking is a way to exercise easily. Taking fresh air outside makes your body feel fresh.
