Every girl has a right to physical and mental health, but unfortunately many of them have no access to health care, food and nutrition.
Why? You may ask. The answer to your question is that people think why spend money on them when they have to eventually get married.
Men also consider it waste of money because they think women have to end up doing house chores and raise children and not be earning hand for the family.
Women’s malnutrition causes many health problems for them in their childhood as well as after when they become mothers but people don’t realize that when mothers are week their kids are also week.
Women are also not given proper medical treatment when they are pregnant, deliver babies, or get diseases because people think they can remarry if their wives die.
Poor female nutrition early in life also reduces girls’ learning potential and they are thought to be not capable of learning therefore they are not given right to education.
Since they do not get education, they are not aware of their nutritional needs at different stages of their life.
The solution to this problem is to give them proper nutrition, educate them so that they can understand their rights, give birth to, and raise physically and mentally healthy children generation after generation.
